Wreck of Doom

This was a strange week for a number of reasons. However, I'll stick with this event for now. So, I'm making the epic voyage from my place in Egypt to a legal obligation in China (court....yep) when suddenly the flow of traffic backs up on the bullshit country road. There was a giant black and white puppy standing in the middle of the road sniffing some roadkill. First off, the speed limit here is 65 MPH. second, there was definite and steady traffic. Third, the dog did not give a shit. Not a one. So me and the two or three cars in front of me screech to a halt to avoid this dog of no small bravery. The person behind me, however, decided not to stop.

I drive an old 1996 Nissan Maxima and she drove a 2006 Something that supposedly had very high crash ratings. She hit me going 55 MPH while I was coasting to a stop. You're likely to be thrown from the car at 30 MPH and I was in fact not wearing a seatbelt. I drove away with nothing more than a backache and a bent tag.



She got towed...

I snapped the cop for good measure.
I try to get away with as much as I can.
